After 20+ years in HR and People & Culture, I’ve worked with just about every HR system out there—and implemented more than a few myself, including Employment Hero and other leading HRIS platforms. I know them inside out, from configuration and workflows to the messy reality of getting teams to actually use them. What I realised is that not every business needs a full HR system straight away. That’s why I built People Ops in a Box: a plug-and-play Notion workspace designed to give you all the HR tools you need, without the HR headcount. It’s built from real experience—my years as a Head of People and Culture in early-stage and scaling businesses, and my current work as a People & Culture consultant helping founders and small teams build strong, compliant, and human-centred workplaces.
